By accessing and using CampusWash, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

CampusWash is a matching platform that connects students who need laundry services with other students who provide laundry services on their campus. CampusWash facilitates the connection between users and washers but is not directly involved in the actual laundry service transaction. CampusWash is not affiliated with any university.

3. User Eligibility

You must have a valid .edu email address to use CampusWash at participating campuses. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

4. Platform Role and Liability

CampusWash is a matching platform and is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Users and washers are responsible for their own interactions and transactions. CampusWash does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by washers, nor does it guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your laundry needs
• Be available at the scheduled pickup and delivery times
• Treat washers with respect and professionalism
• Report any issues or concerns through the platform
• Cancel orders in a timely manner if needed

6. Washer Responsibilities

• Complete laundry services as agreed upon
• Handle items with care and follow care instructions
• Maintain professional conduct with users
• Update job status accurately and promptly
• Report any issues or concerns through the platform

7. Payment and Refunds

Payment is processed through our payment partner. Refund policies vary based on cancellation timing:

• Full refund if cancelled more than 2 hours before pickup
• Partial refund (minus penalty) if cancelled less than 2 hours before pickup
• 50% refund if cancelled after pickup but before washing
• No refund if cancelled after washing has started

8. Cancellation Policy

Users who frequently cancel orders may face temporary restrictions. Cancellation rates above 30% may result in warnings, rates above 40% may result in temporary restrictions, and rates above 50% may result in account review.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with the platform's operation
• Attempt to circumvent payment or fees
• Share your account with others

10. Account Termination

CampusWash reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or demonstrate a pattern of problematic behavior. Users may also delete their accounts at any time.

11. Privacy

Your use of CampusWash is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Changes to Terms

CampusWash reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
