The problem
The real cost of campus laundry is time.
| CampusWash | Doing it yourself | Off-campus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time | Same-day return, 0 minutes spent on laundry | 90 min per load, often 2+ hours spent on laundry | 24–48 hr turnaround at the earliest, often 4-5 days |
| Cost | From $12.49 per load with machines, no time lost | Waiting hours + switching machines, huge loss of time | $35 minimum orders, expensive subscriptions, flexibility loss |
| Location | Your dorm floor | Crowded laundry room | Who knows? |

FAQ
Common questions
Pickup and return happen at the end of the hall, not at your door. We do this for safety: your room number stays private, and we avoid any issues with dorm door locks or building access. You’ll coordinate the exact spot in-app with your washer.
Verified students who live in your building. Every user signs up with a .edu email. No exceptions.
You can report an incident directly in the app. We mediate between both parties and can issue refunds when appropriate.
No. You pay $9.99 (Wash & Dry) or $14.99 (Wash, Dry & Fold) per load, plus $2.50 per load for machine time. The washer pays at the machines and that $2.50 goes to them. Every line, including the card processing fee, is shown before you pay.
